Tom is an experienced corporate and property solicitor, and has particular interests in commercial and residential conveyancing (particularly first home buyers), building contracts, start-up ventures, small- to medium-sized business sales and purchases, franchise agreements, commercial leasing, and succession planning for Directors and Shareholders.

He has specialist knowledge on Brightline Tax, GST, Overseas Investment Regulations, Residential Care Subsidies, and the Trust Act 2019.

Tom grew up in Tauranga before moving to Dunedin in 2018. He graduated from the University of Waikato in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Management Studies (majoring in Economics) and was admitted to the bar in 2017. He is also a keen cricketer and made his first-class debut for the Otago Volts in February 2019. He is on the Committee for Albion Cricket Club, and also plays rugby for the Dunedin Sharks during the off season.
